Suns Waive Forward Daniel Alexander

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona Suns announced Sunday that they have waived forward Daniel Alexander.

Alexander, who is 6-feet 9-inches tall and 217 pounds, played in 15 games (four starts) for the Suns this season, averaging 3.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 13.5 minutes per game. He enjoyed season-highs of 15 points and seven rebounds at the Austin Spurs on Jan. 26.

The Grand Canyon and Texas A&M product was one of four local tryout participants to be invited to training camp, and one of three to be named to the Opening Night roster.

The NAZ Suns’ roster now consists of 10 players.
