Phoenix Suns Recall Elie Okobo from NAZ

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Phoenix Suns announced today that they have recalled guard Elie Okobo from the Northern Arizona Suns.

In Okobo’s first assignment to the NBA G League, he averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 assists and 5.5 rebounds in 33.8 minutes per game in two contests.

In his NAZ Suns debut, Okobo became the second player in team history to achieve a double-double in his first game with the team, as he tallied 15 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and two steals against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Tuesday. On Friday, Okobo assisted on George King’s game-winning three-point shot at the buzzer, as he finished with 22 points, eight assists and four rebounds against the Agua Caliente Clippers.

The Phoenix Suns next play tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder at Talking Stick Resort Arena at 7 p.m. MT.
