PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Phoenix Suns announced Wednesday that they have recalled Derrick Jones Jr. from the Northern Arizona Suns.
Jones was assigned to Phoenix’s NBA G League affiliate on Tuesday, where he participated in practice.
It marked Jones’ first assignment of the season and the seventh of his career.
The 6-foot 7-inch, 195-pound forward returns to the Phoenix Suns where he has averaged 1.8 points on 50 percent shooting and 0.8 rebounds per game in four contests this season.
The Phoenix Suns next play tonight against the Miami Heat at 7 p.m. at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
