Phoenix Suns Recall De’Anthony Melton From NAZ Suns

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Phoenix Suns announced today that they have recalled guard De’Anthony Melton from the Northern Arizona Suns.

In Melton’s third assignment to the NBA G League, he recorded 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes on Tuesday.

Overall with the NAZ Suns, Melton has averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 35.5 minutes per game in five contests. He is the only player in the league averaging at least seven rebounds and six assists (minimum three games played).

Melton returns to the Phoenix Suns, where he has played four games in his rookie year, averaging 2.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 steal in 10.5 minutes per game.

The Phoenix Suns next play Friday against the Orlando Magic at 7 p.m. MT at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
