PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Phoenix Suns have recalled guard Davon Reed from the Northern Arizona Suns, the teams announced Saturday.

Reed played in his first game-action since the Summer League after undergoing a meniscus repair of his left knee on Aug. 24.

He tallied 11 points, two rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes in the NAZ Suns’ win over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Tuesday. Last night at the Reno Bighorns, Reed recorded 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists in 23 minutes in the Suns’ 125-104 win.

He started both games in his first career assignment.

The Phoenix Suns selected the 6-foot 6-inch, 210-pound guard with the 32nd overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. Phoenix next plays the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday at Talking Stick Resort Arena, with tip-off slated for 6 p.m. MT.
