PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Phoenix Suns announced Tuesday that they have assigned forward/center Alan Williams to the Northern Arizona Suns.

This marks Williams’ third career assignment to the NBA G League, the second this season. He was assigned on March 15, participated in practice with the NAZ Suns, and was recalled on March 16. Last year, he played one game on assignment, posting 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting and nine rebounds against the Santa Cruz Warriors.

Williams underwent a meniscus repair of his right knee on Sept. 25 and has yet to play in a game with the Phoenix Suns this season.

The 24-year-old has averaged 6.6 points and 5.8 rebounds in 57 career NBA games, all with Phoenix.

The Northern Arizona Suns next play tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. PT against the Texas Legends at the Prescott Valley Event Center.
