Phoenix Suns Recall Davon Reed from Northern Arizona

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Phoenix Suns announced Saturday that they have recalled guard Davon Reed from the Northern Arizona Suns.

Reed was assigned yesterday for the fifth time this season.

Playing last night for Northern Arizona, Reed tallied 17 points, three rebounds, two assists and four steals in 27 minutes in the Suns’ 135-116 win at the Texas Legends.

For the season, Reed has averaged 11.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block in eight games in the NBA G League. The NAZ Suns are 7-1 with Reed on the roster.

With Phoenix, the 22-year-old has averaged 1.3 points and 0.9 rebounds in 8.0 minutes per game in seven contests.

The Phoenix Suns next play tonight for the second game of a back-to-back set against the Portland Trail Blazers at 7 p.m. MT at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
