Four NAZ Suns Named to Summer League Rosters

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – Four Northern Arizona Suns players will take part in NBA Summer League 2018 in Las Vegas beginning Friday, the team announced today.

Archie Goodwin, Josh Gray, Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson and Alec Peters will all participate in the event that runs from July 6-17 at Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Goodwin will play with the Portland Trail Blazers, Gray is a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves, and both Hollis-Jefferson and Peters will suit up for the Phoenix Suns.

Each team gets a minimum of five games in Las Vegas, with the first three games for each team already set. After each team’s three-game set, they will play at least two more games as part of a tournament-style schedule to determine the NBA Summer League 2018 champion.

Hollis-Jefferson and Peters join former NAZ Suns guards Shaquille Harrison and Davon Reed with Phoenix. The Suns start their slate on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks at Thomas & Mack Center at 6:30 p.m. PT, a game that will be televised on ESPN.

Gray and the Timberwolves also play on Friday, against the Denver Nuggets at 8 p.m. PT at Cox Pavilion, televised on NBA TV. Goodwin and the Trail Blazers play their first game against the Utah Jazz on Saturday at 12 p.m. at Cox Pavilion, which can be seen on NBA TV.

The three-game sets for the Suns, Timberwolves and Blazers are below.

 

Phoenix Suns

  • Friday, July 6 at 6:30 p.m. PT against the Dallas Mavericks at Thomas & Mack Center (ESPN)
  • Saturday, July 7 at 4:30 p.m. PT against the Sacramento Kings at Thomas & Mack Center (ESPN)
  • Monday, July 9 at 6:30 p.m. PT against the Orlando Magic at Thomas & Mack Center (NBA TV)

 

Minnesota Timberwolves

  • Friday, July 6 at 8 p.m. PT against the Denver Nuggets at Cox Pavilion (NBA TV)
  • Sunday, July 8 at 12 p.m. PT against the Toronto Raptors at Cox Pavilion (NBA TV)
  • Monday, July 9 at 8 p.m. PT against the Brooklyn Nets at Cox Pavilion (ESPNU)

 

Portland Trail Blazers

  • Saturday, July 7 at 12 p.m. PT against the Utah Jazz at Cox Pavilion (NBA TV)
  • Sunday, July 8 at 2:30 p.m. PT against the Atlanta Hawks at Thomas & Mack Center (ESPN2)
  • Tuesday, July 10 at 1 p.m. PT against the San Antonio Spurs at Cox Pavilion (NBA TV)
