PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Phoenix Suns announced Saturday that they have recalled guard Davon Reed from the Northern Arizona Suns.
Reed was assigned on Monday for the fourth time this season. He played two games with the Northern Arizona Suns in his latest assignment.
The 22-year-old tallied 11 points, three rebounds and two assists in a win over the Oklahoma City Blue on Tuesday. He recorded a career-high 17 points in a career-high 32 minutes, to go with six rebounds, five assists and two blocks last night in the Suns’ win over the Agua Caliente Clippers at the Prescott Valley Event Center.
Reed has played seven games this season with Northern Arizona, scoring in double-figures in six of them. Getting the start in all seven, the NAZ Suns are 6-1 with Reed in the lineup. Overall, he has averaged 10.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists for the Phoenix Suns’ NBA G League affiliate.
The University of Miami alum heads back to Phoenix where he’s played one game this season (Jan. 14 vs. Indiana). The Phoenix Suns next play at the Houston Rockets tomorrow, with tip-off slated for 1:30 p.m. MT.
