PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. – The Phoenix Suns announced Saturday that they have assigned guard Davon Reed to the Northern Arizona Suns.
This marks Reed’s third career assignment. He was recalled by Phoenix on Jan. 14.
Reed was inactive during Phoenix’s 108-100 win over the Denver Nuggets last night. The 22-year-old tallied one rebound in five minutes in his NBA debut on Jan. 14, when Phoenix took on the Indiana Pacers at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
Reed has played four games with the Northern Arizona Suns, who are a perfect 4-0 when the University of Miami alum plays. He has scored 10+ points in three out of four contests, averaging 9.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists in the NBA G League.
The NAZ Suns play tonight at the Prescott Valley Event Center against the Salt Lake City Stars at 7 p.m.
